Philip V. Ramirez has developed and managed successful public relations and marketing campaigns for a diverse range of clients including leading real estate developers, world-renowned architects and interior designers, influential cultural institutions, and Fortune 500 companies. Philip specializes in real estate developments that have an international focus and an emphasis on design. He’s overseen media relations by critically acclaimed designers Sir David Adjaye, Bjarke Ingels, Jean Nouvel and Rafael Viñoly. Prior to joining Optimist, he’s worked with Tadao Ando, Isay Weinfeld, Rem Koolhaas, Piet Boon, Jacques Garcia, Concrete and Martin Brudnizki. His diverse experience includes the opening of the $32-million Millennium Park in downtown Chicago; affordable housing initiatives in collaboration with New York City and major financial institutions; developing media campaigns for Target’s sponsorship of art exhibitions, and promoting a national concert series with Grammy Award-winning artists.
